Building CastlesA Poem by TheJordBaker
On the gold sand we built ruins
and made myths just for us. We saw them outlast the tides from our pillar up on the hills. We returned and built a fortress and it stood there longer still. The shoreline filled the moat and the sun rays made it glow. Years wash and still I remember and would always do it all again. Although your youth is numbered, building castles I'll never grow old. © 2019 TheJordBakerFeatured Review
