More a pondering than a generic poem, I feel best read aloud considerately.
What a world it is. A mixture of wonder and cruelty
but even in the most sorrowful rain there’s beauty.
After the sunniest summer the winter starts.
I can see that and maybe you’re bitter sweetheart.
I used to think God loved me since he made you
but I can’t figure out what He was trying to do
when He gave you that smile and it all fell apart
when He introduced me to your bittersweet heart.
Which then is the summer and which is the fall?
Also the winter and the spring, you don’t care at all-
neither you nor your bittersweet heart.
Was the summer our undoubted gravitation?
Therefore the winter our unfortunate aberration-
me, you and your bittersweet heart.
I’d say your maturity may be the spring
young, just beginning, and all the semantics it brings.
Unpredictable perhaps, like your bittersweet heart.
Maybe my mind is like the autumn then,
experienced and crumbling enough so that when
it came around I wasn’t as bitter as you, sweetheart.
And this world I allude to and describe
has both shown me great truths and lied.
It beats both ways in my mind
much like you and your bittersweet heart.
It’s callous, yet graceful and kind
much like you and your bittersweet heart.
It’s an everlasting gift from God,
it’s straight-forward yet in many ways odd
much like you and your bittersweet heart.
"but even in the most sorrowful rain there’s beauty." that was the point you had me. This is beautiful and it touched me! AH! there are just too many lines that make me want to read them over and over, like for example "when He gave you that smile and it all fell apart" and "Maybe my mind is like the autumn then," then there's also "And this world I allude to and describe
has both shown me great truths and lied."...shall I keep going? I should..."It’s callous, yet graceful and kind"
I am adding you to my favorites here, if you may allow me
marvelous!

thank you for writing
Please be my guest to pass by
much in this to admire, to identify with. Your own feeling penetrates though.
I would like to have seen you adopt a metre with this...it would help the reading of it and maybe less references to the title..but they are minor remarks.
Will look for more
