Hello

Hello

A Poem by Scarlett Hollow
"

This is all based around being given labels, names, etc and how you feel worthless when everyone is there shouting, making you feel like you should not exist to be an individual.

"
Hello

Hello, my name is nothing.
I have no name, no labels, no identity.
I am nothing. I do not exist.

You may hear me sometimes as the words and shouts
they sneer at you.

You may see me sometimes as the girl in the corner,
who walks away and cries.

You may feel me sometimes when those words they say
dig down deep,
And when they brand you down with a label for life.

Hello, my name is nothing.
I am a shadow. A mask, that they force you to wear.

You may hide behind me sometimes when society batters you down,

You may replace your face with me, to be a sheep in a crowd.

You become me when what is left of the you is stripped away
forever.

By them.

Hello, my name is nothing.
I have no name, but I will make you strong, so you will rise above the world.

You will feel me stand beside you when you rebel against society, waving your
own flag up high.

You will hear me shout out loud with you, standing your ground to be different,
to be you.

And you will see me smile when you declare that you will never hide yourself again.

For what you are.

Hello, my name is nothing.
And If you stand strong, you will never feel like me.

Author's Note

Scarlett Hollow
Hi, published a new little bit :D
'Hello' is not really a poem, but it could be as it is written a little bit like that. Though it probably isn't as I am terrible at poems!
I was thinking about this when I watching all these catty girls walking around in groups around school. They are look the same, sound the same, and think the same. They walk around as if they are the best of the world, and they shout and bully those who are different.
And yet, they are the ones who live being a flock of sheep, blocking the one thing it means to be human.
To be individual.

Dam, I can relate to that. It dumb when your " label " somehow pigeon holes you and you are expected to stay there. When the reality is a label is just that. You can tear it off at any moment but that is easier said than done. Labels don't do much for anything besides separate I guess. I like it though very good read. Deep stuff
