Something I'd never doA Poem by Jazz Newport GreenIf the stars could come to earth, They'd know for sure they cant outshine your worth; Tell me all there is to you, Tell me all you wish to do. I know for sure you've been broken Way too many times; Way too many people Have told you way to many lies; And as I step over all the shards, Of a broken and friendless heart, I make it over in my mind to stay right here by your side. When it comes to blood and water, Love is thicker than both, So when it comes to leaving you, Love says it' Something I'd never do. Here, take my heart, I know you'll run with it in a straight line; I'm just watching all you do. I wanna see if you'll prove true. Be strong in honesty; Love me honestly; Trust I treasure your tears; I'm the brother whose always there, I'm the friend whose by your side; I've made it over in my mind, When it comes to not loving you, Love says it's Something I'd never do. Now, I have seen the heartless steal someones heart, Take for granted someones faith, With a young soul's life they'll simply run away. When it comes to you, for granted I'll never take. Love is pure, kind and strong in faith, I'd never have it any other way, And when it comes to loving you, Love has determined that's Something I'll always do. © 2013 Jazz Newport GreenAuthor's Note
