I'll do it all

I'll do it all

A Poem by Jazz Newport Green

Whatever you need,

Whatever you want,

I’ll hide the truth,

I’ll take the fall,

I’ll do it all,

I’ll do it all!

When you’re in ruins,

When you need a hand,

When you've gone too far into the land of the damned;

Damned be the land that refuses your hand;

I’ll keep your secrets,

I'll hide the truth,

I’ll take the fall;

I’ll do it all,

I’ll do it all,

For you.

I’ll do it all,

I’ll do it all…

When the world is against you

As it already is

I’ll take your hand,

I’ll help you up,

I’ll take the fall,

I’ll take it all-

All for you.

Cry, baby cry,

Weep all you wish,

Let your heart sink in other's foolishness,

But you’re not weak,

No, you are strong,

Even perfect ones cry

When things go perfectly wrong.

I’ll tell your lies,

I’ll tell your truths,

I’ll hold the world captive,

Then free it for you;

Oh, I’ll keep you strong.

My love yes my life,

As husband and wife,

As best pal and best friend,

As brother and sister,

As friends-

There’s no end to all that we are,

All we can be,

And baby, you’re the entire world to me.

So

I’ll take the fall,

I’ll do it all

In good times I'll expect the bad,

and in bad times I'll remind of the good times we had.

I am your rock,

You are my strength.

You are my map;

Where shall I go

Without you?

My darling I'll do it all,

I’ll take the fall,

I’ll do it all,

For you.
