Never To Fly

Never To Fly

A Poem by Tambrey
"

Hey! :) This was a poem I created during this summer when my depression was at a all-time high. So I decided to enter it in for my groups contest :)

"

Tears of blood trickle down my face

Once a heart now a hole takes its place

All my insecurities

All your spiteful words

They rip away my feathers

Keep me flying with the birds

Mysterious scars on my skin

Put there as my own secret sin

Robbed of my happiness

I plummet to the ground

And just like the dead

I never make a sound

Plaster on my sickly sweet smile

That keeps me happy for only awhile

Finally broken

Thoughts steel their way into my head

Like a roll of film

Of all the things I never said

I scare myself you see

I wish I wasn't me

This is a great poem, flows very fluently and has a good amount of emotion attached to it. Very nice.
