Lost and Found

Lost and Found

A Poem by Sibling
"

How it feels to be young and in a young love

"
My heart was lost.

It wandered the barren Earth in solitude.
Stepping on sharp thorns,
Devoid of solid shoes -
Until there was nothing.
It bled dry of its essence.

My heart was lost.

It trudged about the jungle
In fear of finding the unknown it knew.
New bushes with its poisons,
Snakes and panthers too -
As mosquitoes bled it dry of sustenance.

My heart was lost.

It sled off the edge of a mountain,
And an icy fall found it -
Only to condemn it to a pit.
In the red hot coldness that prevailed,
It bled dry then froze.

My heart was lost.

It ought to have died,
But then you found it -
And gave it some life.
Now my heart isn't lost or alone,
Now my heart has a home.

YOURS.
