My Mistress' Eyes

My Mistress' Eyes

A Poem by Sibling
"

Weirdo love poem even though I don't believe in that s**t.

"
My mistress' eyes are nothing like the Sun.
They are like Mercury's Night Sky -
Ablaze with endlessly cold dark light.

A simple glimpse
Eclipses all else - high tides,
When our eyes align.

The danger of drowning
Within them dies,
As soon as I dive...

My stare dives directly into hers,
I delve into greater silent discussions,
In hopes to entice.

In time,
I realize that her eyes
See deep beneath mine.

They see my bare soul
Filled with hope,
Reflected from her eyes.

Her glance is gathered galaxies,
Her gaze resembles gold.
Her eyes are deepest when closed.

Let them SHINE.

Enough said.

LOL pleased to see you enjoying my blatant punning off the Moon.
I love the romantic part of this.
I also like the comparison to the stars, galaxies and gold.
It is very well written, but if I may ask...
what do you mean when you say "her eyes are deepest when closed."
This line confuses me, but yet it is still one of my favorite lines.
