Thoughts on Love PoemsA Poem by SiblingAn edited version of one of my earliest poems.
I hate love poems.
I know somewhere Someone shares my view. I hate the language poems use To show smoke as morning dew I wouldn't write a poem again If 'love' was the only accepted subject. Dejected - I'd stand alone As a result of rejecting acceptance. Having accepted rejection - I'd end up wondering WHY... Why live a lie living life like Love has died When I know the Love in my heart is alive? It is the life that I convey through art. The running atoms of true art seek Love Colliding with each other while others part. The day they find it will be the day A new substance shall be found By an oxymoron holding an abstract noun. I'm a moron who desires my torment... I hate love poems but write poems about it. I guess I love hating 'Love', Love hates humanity. © 2014 SiblingAuthor's Note
