Free in the Wind

Free in the Wind

A Poem by The Glassface
"

This is the first time I will even think about writing this. All new. Wanna see how legit it is if I never go back on one.

"
I saw birdies flying high
I watched birdies when they died

I hear love when it's a word
I think sex is the common curse

I smell napalm in the breeze
I got down on my knees

Breathing deep the twisting smoke
Must get away, mustn't choke

Papa always wanted to be proud
Of his legacy in his boy
Mama always ran for nothing
Sold her son for twenty seconds of joy

Author's Note

The Glassface
* After thought * I think I could be one of the whiniest people alive. Or I have no idea how to communicate some of my deep seated issues. I don't like the tone of this piece though, it's depressing and any other time I never think about it.

Subconscious eh?
