It's Alright, We're Alright

It's Alright, We're Alright

A Poem by The Glassface

Feel that up?

Now bring it down

Topsy turvy, vertigo

When you come around

Talk of the show

I grew a set of wings

When I touched the sky

I slipped in acid

Melted my mind and it screamed, “Alive!”

So did the rest of my generation, haha.

Choked out slowly

Then envisioned my grave

Rolled over myself

Just to get out and play

So did the rest of my generation

Took a wave of sadness

Drank, downed it away

Pleasure at an expense

Seemed a fair price to pay

Slaved for hours,

Settled for dimes

Trashed out wasted

From our motherfucking lives

So did the rest of your generation

It's a wonderful world we live in

Summer vacation

Spring break raiding to the mother station

There's a world out there, time to get racing.
