Journey On

Journey On

A Poem by The Glassface

Morning brings quiet

In a house where the pins drop

Quiet on the floor

Got my breakfast

Checked a tune and I'm out to the world

Fell flat on my face,

Drowned in a rainbow swirl

No one's talking

Scared of fighting or reflecting to what they say

So just ignore it, sweep it under the bed

Kitties dieing

I shake it off and play tooth fairy

Work is calling, smash my phone against the wall

Where we going when it's said and done anyway?

What's to look forward to but a brand new day?

Sorry, why do I need to pick my path right now?

Journey on,

Race after.
