Reoccurring Theme

A Poem by The Glassface

Ever woken up at night and the sun was shining?

Why do my eyes cry when I'm so happy

Blood isn't water and I've made a river

Come back from there sometime, tell me a story of that place

I've tried on my own and look where it's gotten me

This isn't my life

This isn't what should be happening to me

I wasn't destined for this

I am better

I can do this

I know it.

Put me back, I never asked for this

Life's a blast, but this seems like a race track

I'm going to crash, I keep seeing others burst into flames in front of me

I'm catching up.
