What Shall be

What Shall be

A Poem by The Glassface

What will happen

Will happen

Yes it will

What will be

Will be

Yes it will

Why won't you dance

Is it android dance?

It is small appetite?

Is it your baby dieing in an alleyway,

Crying in the night?

Where is that you found me?

What's the word you play?

I don't understand your rhythm

I don't know how to do it your way.

What will listen?

When the bombs break the bells?

The sounds of the living, the sighs of the dead

It's all the same,

With a bullet in your head

I said I'd see you after

I don't break them when I promise with eyes

You never said we'd die together

Feasting with the flies

I love you and I haven't seen your face

I lost in the lab

Like a rat in a cage

My brain is turned empty

Where the time slipped in lace

My fingers remember bodies

My memory is flashed away

What will there be when the world ends

Who will sing dirges for the stars

I broke my ankle and fell

Snapped back with my face in a car

Flames you left behind

What will happen

Is not how it should be

There's not really an option

For you or for me
