Stutter

Stutter

A Poem by The Glassface

Yea I can see straight.

I'm fine.

Stop.

Go forward, there's only entropy behind us.

Wait.

Time to die.

Ok, wake up. Get moving. You don't want to be late.

Where are you going? Wait for me.

Can I come over? Now? Not now, why not now?

I see you. I know what you're trying to say with those worry line stones.

Your face lies through your teeth.

Think you can stop me?

Where do you think we're going?

What are we,

...wasting time? Alive? Living or dead, wherever we bed, it seems we're destined to be lead

Back to again, with the night time exit. Time to close, bar's open. We're done now.

Reset again. Smile and forget my name. I don't need you here with me anymore, I've moved on. In my own mind, I'm becoming lost again. Words filter out like a river from a glacier.

Forget my face. I tried. I did.

I cried. I did.

I died, again. I did.
