Mother's Day

Mother's Day

A Poem by The Glassface

Mother, father

Where are we going?

Time's slipping away,

and nothing is showing

You're tired of living

I'm scared of you dieing

So smile for a picture

Ignore all the frowns

Rain falls sweetly

On fresh turned ground

Someday we'll find each other

Laughter all around

In the mean time we're silent

Don't know what cry to sound

I hope you can be proud

Worries follow you not

I'm trying my hardest

Giving it all I've got

There's just some time missing

I promise someday you can tell the lot

About the baby son I'm sure you wish you'd forgot
