Snowflakes

Snowflakes

A Poem by The Glassface

It's as if there's a movie and I can't turn it off repeat.
The same static
The same people
The same thing, every day.

Deja vu, I think it's called.

What was so special, what was different then?
Couldn't tell you with a try, insignificant.

Driving me crazy, or at least putting signs in the road
I've been here before, same place every time
Countless ages, same broken mirror
Reflecting every failure

Tried everything
“Try your best!”
“Be all you can be!”
“Read my book, try it my way!”
Do this
Do that
Whatever you're doing is wrong
You have a problem
We can fix that

It's not you
You're special
Nothing can be appreciated in it's prime
Time tells all stories and heals all wounds

I think more of a link needs to be forged between the voices and the ending message.
