Back and Forth

Back and Forth

A Poem by The Glassface

Glisten little spider
Outside my mourning wall
Drip down the sunrise
Rising toward the fall

Down throttled attempt into emergency room
Springs gone cold with the winter bloom
Eyes wide spun from the light ahead
Brake lights float away from the scene of the dead

One thing never worked
Attack until it will
All aboard the velvet ship
Everyone gets a fill

Crystal pulses line her glitter crown eyes
Picturesque body with those killing lies

Streets are set to close
From the fade and blinking slow
Set the course for bitter morose
Apathy, let me go

This is very interesting. I love how some of the lines are contradictory, like "rising toward the fall." There is a ton of description in this poem, and the rhyming is amazing. Lots of creativity here. Great job!
