If It Happens

If It Happens

A Poem by The Glassface

Troupe of pals pave city lights
Brilliant star sparkles
Another falls and supernovas
Crossed signs swerve over wavy lines
Dreams of lovers hidden on whisper wind vines

Bar's slur words that never miss
Crack down eyes from a territorial piss
Do you see it?
You can?
Wild western tale with a gamblin' man

Drop another days time in the trash
Wash away weak willed sentimental smash
Can't continue on with a what if life?
Bold feelings linger from that very first night
Risky pursuit
Desire's strong

Break out far from a collaborative dance
Old time hits
Soundtrack for modern romance
It's a bad fairy tale from an early nineties show
Kick up the heels
Gas it
Let's roll

Crack up smile on an idol's grace
Her hands could could trace lines
Mine trace futures down an angel's face
I wonder if you know

This is nice! My favorite line is "drop another days time in the trash." I think you did an awesome job conveying a new life full of love. :)
