Work In Progress : Take 3

Work In Progress : Take 3

A Poem by The Glassface

Aloft in the lightning infused horizon
Ancient upheaval requests an entrance to an Armageddon parade
Reptilian lenses sit on gentle repose
Lazing with fiery intent
Never wavering from the kinetic stasis

A rider begins his preparation
He has a feast to attend
Polished steel wraps around flesh and bone
Itching, it snaps in place at his side

Scaled luminescence drops and oozes along feathered forces
Cascading brilliance begins virtual daybreak over crimson dancing leaves
A cry rings out across the canopy
Something died tonight
Someone will know

Insanity blazed the trail for depravity
Depravity loaded the chamber for calamity
Calamity held her eyes and screamed for clarity
Clarity bleeds, death throes for sincerity

Oh true
An opponent aggressor
Beneath flooding, crashing breaks
Endless shore, awaits eternally for the rain
Sloping down it's curves and jagged features
Spilling into a global source
Diametrically opposing life and death
Nothing forever, endless rest
