Crackin' Up

Crackin' Up

A Poem by The Glassface

I'm

shaken up, muddled up, breaking up, mixed up
stirred up, screwing up, knocked up, f*****g up

All in between

Who you said you did it?
No one asked me.
It's a matter of preference
A choice of ideals
Take illusion pills
And see how you feel

Sitting in the middle
riding the line
I'm preaching my word
I'm cracking inside
I'm singing my song
I'm losing my mind
I've heard every other word
I can't see your eyes

Listen
Me
Right
Lies
Now
wrong
blind
screaming
happy
next
line
Take
This
Choices
Freedom
Hurt
Outside
Inside
Cage
Waste
Thrive

Don't feel for me, what's this you do?
Using a gun, when a handshake will do
Swarm in your own, eat it alive
I don't need a piece, I only survive
Stop hitting the red
Color the lines
It's two feet away
Miles to me
Cool, night
Sweet, quiet
Crimson waves, crash on a doormat shore
