Mistress

Mistress

A Poem by The Glassface

Fate seems cruel
Got witnesses in tow

There's a love out there babe
I'm dreaming of

Don't tell me it's a fable
It ain't a shangri-la

Men fight in search of answer
Slaughter struggles soft

Teach me a lesson
Whippin's ruined my day

Send out a message
I'm keen to break way

I know that her touch is poison
Her lips seal mens lives

Like a moth I dance for flame
Cities burn in her eyes

Pandora opened world's
Made it rain night and day

Creepies crawlin' round her bedside
Make all your pains go away

She gives me a whisper, a soft
Her lips loosen to sink warships

Hell needs a new master
They let one astride

My spirit be damned
My beautiful lie
