Man

Man

A Poem by The Glassface

There's a man,
There's a man

He can't seem to be found
He opened his mouth
What fell out wasn't sound

He started running away that fateful day
Someone asked him when he'd come back that way
There's a man out here, drowning in the bay

There's a man
There's a man

He rambled down the highway
Always looking for an ear
Someone mentioned a lady, take all the pain away

So now he seeks and he soars on lies
Full speed ahead
Man still tries to let a word loose,
a victory howl
Poor souls loss went to his head,
Wonder where he's silent now

Oh there's a man
There's a man
