A Poem by The Glassface

Used to enjoy the breeze
Fell so high from a dream
Alien cultures meet within
First poetic, raged to violent scene

Coursing fear pumps in my veins
Sought the way to seek straight
A tip of the hat, to my manifest brain

Risking lives to obtain vernal bloom
Twilight alleys glazed over with gloom

Words escape ruby lips
Undecipherable languages sink ships
Painted crimes align the times
Blasted bells ring well, unfurled sails
Could be heaven
Could be hell

Terrifying glances shock me to the core
I've got an idea, but not what's in store
Read it aloud, you'll put on a show
Then again, what do I know?

I'll snare the moon if that's your beck
I'm enthralled, completely.
Nervous wreck
Hope in a sea of copycats
Lost it all,
found it once
Nothing left but disrespect

Lead the way for you, glimmer of hope
Try it first but someone has to follow through
