Black winter

Black winter

A Poem by TheGhostInside
"

"The voice of silence, speaks louder than any noise" ~TheGhostinside

"
Its only a matter of time,
Before the dark sun rises,
Along with the sons of man.

Just a matter of time,
Until the broken start to break,
And the cold start to feed off sin.

Look around and find nothing but
Demons that were once angels,
Awaiting the promised one.

That one child staring at the dark murky waters,
Empty and striped of all sanity at such youth,
What would you do in his shoes?

The wheels spin and the tables turn,
The clock ticks but to what end?
What a kid used to call home,
Now an empty house filled with regrets and pain.

Please tell me what you think. This isn't really supposed to be catchy or anything. I'm trying to make people aware of what happens under the shade of reality.

Hmmm. This is very dark.

I am sensing a real nervous energy in this piece. Dark thoughts abound in every line of this poem. It speaks of a lonely child, hurt or subdued in some way, surrounded by demons that were once angels, enemies that were once friends. Wondering what is the point of life as he/she stares into that murky river, as these dark thoughts try to plunge he/she into the dark depths.
A well written poem, Ghost, very disturbing in theme and content. Where there is darkness, there will also be light. Look for the light.
