Under the Moon

Under the Moon

A Poem by TheGhostInside
"

My feelings about what I think about the world

"
Under this broken moon;
Those who cried blood,
Deliver the once bloody tear,
Those who chose birth,
Long for death without fear,
Those who cried out for help
Left cold and broken,
Those left in the bottom of the shelf,
Has hate and anger left in within them.

Under this cold blank moon;
The ones who were in chains
Now protest against the new gains
Hypocracy comes in many forms
Yet it can clearly be seen
Only when the colors fade to nothingness
And until that it can be blue, yellow or green.
This "one" that they worshiped
This "other" that they blamed
Itll all fall down to a melting pot of shame.

A very interesting poem.

There is a deep restlessness emanating from the words in this poem. A sense that the world is cruel, unfair and biased against particular people. I can see the religious symbolism near the end of the poem, the "worshipped", the "blamed".
The modern world is a fast paced hotbed of excitement and disillusionment. Your views on it are evident throughout this piece. Very nice rhyme, and a promising start to your time on writerscafe.
Welcome aboard.

I like how much the imagery contributes to the overall mood and an interpretation: a sort of painting of the world where this whole scene takes place. Its interesting how the not only the words tell a story but the sensory elements do as well. Very smooth read.
