A Silent Being

A Silent Being

A Poem by Evan Costello
"

A song i wrote about the whole bully thing going on in our country.

"

A silent being

All the kids around me

Pointing and laughing

And all im doing

Is sitting down

Being a silent being

Not moving a muscle

One kid punches me

I hate this feeling

I stand up and wipe the tears from my eyes

F**k this guy!

(chorus)

He shouldn’t have came here

He shouldve gone home

He shouldn’t have stayed in the alley

He shouldve been alone

He shouldn’t have flipped me off

He shouldve said sorry

He shouldn’t have opened his mouth

Now he’s on the floor bleeding

The following day

No new routine

All the same s**t

Every f*****g day

I tried telling the teacher

Nobody would believe me

I tried telling my parents

They almost put me to sleep

And so now I weep

(chorus)

He shouldn’t have came here

He shouldve gone home

He shouldn’t have stayed in the alley

He shouldve been alone

He shouldn’t have flipped me off

He shouldve said sorry

He shouldn’t have opened his mouth

Now he’s on the floor dying

He shouldn’t have came here

He shouldve gone home

He shouldn’t have stayed in the alley

He shouldve been alone

He shouldn’t have flipped me off

He shouldve said sorry

He shouldn’t have opened his mouth

Now hes a silent being
