       “OI! You there did you do that?” said a voice. She turned and saw Kanda and Lavi standing behind her. Lavi looked at her for second a shouted delightedly.

“Strike!”

“What?” asked Rachel.

“Oh never mind him, we have to get you back to head quarters, you seem to have the makeings of a Exorsist.” Said Kanda pulling her along not waiting for a answer. They realy are the same as in the book she thought to herself.

HQ was on the top of a killer cliff, and Kanda seemed in a hurry so he made Lavi get them up there on the staff of his growing Hammer.

“Gate keeper let us in.” said Kanda crossly.

“Wait! Examination…” it said beding down to peer at Rachel.

“She’s out!” it anounsed, “She’s either not hear at all or more hear then anybody else. Either way thereis only a fuzzy image of her showing up, just like Allen.”

“Don’t compare her to Bean Sprout!” mutterd Kanda.

“none of you are coming in.” said the gate keeper.

“This is mindless. Open.” Commanded Rachel with her mind as well as her voice. The gate swung open and Rachel marched in pulling along Kanda and Lavi who had frozen in suprize.

“Erm… what now?” asked Rachel once they were inside and out of earshot of the howeling gatekeeper, she kinda expected to be taken to Kumi but she thought it polite to ask. After all, she realy wasn’t suppose to know anything about this place.

“Lavi will take you to Kumi and he will decide if you’re a exsosist or not.” Said Kanda regaining his compusher frist and jerking his hand away from her and walked off. Rachel nodded to herself, it was expected these people acted the same as they did in the Manga, it should be easyer to anilize the things that are not suppose to be in the Manga and find  away out.

Her interview with Kumi went vary well, having done acting for some years she improved a beliveble story, and Kumi just ate it up. However when she went to be examind by the gardian of the Inocence, she found something she didn’t expect.

“She has the Hart…” wisperd the gardian.

“What?” asked Kumi chocking on his coffe, Rachel stared, she supposed that it might be natral, since the book had swallowed her into itself that she should suddenly be a important person, but she had never enjoyd being the center of unwanted attention.

“Kumi… what should we do?” asked one of the gards.

“Should we imprison her under top sacrity?”

“maybe we should tell every one, it will get us more support if people think we are suddenly on the winning side… I mean the hart!”

“Enoghf!” said Kumi, “If we advertise that we have the hart or if we suddenly put a exsorsist under top sacurtity then the mallinam earl will suspect something, and we are not redy to fight him just yet. So don’t tell anyone about this girl having the hart. We’ll treat her like any other exorsit.” The gards started to protest, “But, we will posistion three strong people next to her my thinking is Allen, Kanda, and Lavi.”

“shouldn’t one of the genrals be placed next to her?” the gards asked.

“Genrals are alredy being hunted by the Earl, and we don’t want her anywhere near him. I have made my disision now if I hear even a wisper of a rumer floting around hear about this…” the gards remained silent.

“Good! Now my dear, what was your name again?”

“Oh, uh, Kiesa.” Said Rachel which was the frist name that popped into her head.

“Well now Kiesa.” Said Kumi leading her away from the innocence room, “I have a mission for you. You will go to China to a little town called _____. There has been some strange powers steering there and we want to make sure that it’s not innocence, Ok? oh and you will be going with 3 boys wont that be fun?”

“Um…”

“I knew you would like it, come back down to the enterence hall and wait for you companions, hears your cloke! Have a nice trip!” Rachel stared after him.

“He realy dose think I am a idiot who know nothing doesn’t he?” mutterd Rachel to herself. She wonderd down toward the entrance hall, but all of a sudden she caught the sent of the most dilisose smell ever. Rachel sighed, from what she read adventures were hard an tiering, good meals came few and far between and Rachel was ill at use to do anything when she was hungry. Drifting off away to the meal hall.

“You new?” asked the cook peering at her.

“Yes.” Replied Rachel shyly.

“Ah, well miss…?”

“Kiesa.”

“Well miss Kiesa what would you like to eat?” Rachel ponderd that for a moment, then afraid that someone would hear her and make fun of her after she only arrived, she wisperd her order to the cook. His eyes gleamed with the promis of a challenge. Rachel sat close by and heaps of food were brought to her intill she could eat no more, which was saying something.

“The young miss eats as much as master Allen.” Said the cook approvingly. Rachel looked and saw Allen and Lavi walking out the door.

“Oh I have to go! Thank you so much for the food, it was delisus.” Said Rachel politly hoping to her feet she half ran down a short cut she knew of from reading the books and beet them all down stairs and allowed herself sometime to rest up before they Arived.

They took a train from HQ to the capital, after they got off they would have to walk for two days to the town they were suppose to go to was rather remote. Some time zomeing along on the train Rachel felt a sort of tug on her concience, as pulling her to some place or another, she began to reconise that it was Inocence in different places all around, sometimes it came like a electrical shock, Rachel figerd out that this was when a piece was destroyed. To distrack her self she tryd to make conversation wich was not one of her talents so she picked a topic that she was sure would perk even Kandas interest. The Hart.

“What is the Hart?” she asked Lavi.

“Like the one in your chest or the- something different?” asked Lavi caching himself.

“I am not sure but I think it’s something different… something to do with Inoncens actually was my guses.” Said Rachel trying to look nocolant.

“Well your right the hart I connected to all the other inocens if it is destroyed then so is all the other innocence and-“ Lavi began to explain but Kanda hit him over the head.

“We’re not supposed to talk about that sort of stuff now stop flirting with your girlfriend and shut up.” Said Kanda, then he glard at Rachel.

“You, why are so interested in the hart?” asked Kanda.

“Oh, well, it’s just that when the gardian inspected my innocence it said something about a hart and Kumi and the others got all worked up about it. I knew the hart must be something important but I still don’t realy understand…” she trailed off and stared out the window, in her perif she could see that Allen, Kanda, and Lavi were all staring at her as if they had never seen her before. Rachel frowned, this wasn’t exactly what she wanted, she felt a sharp pang and she knew another Inocence close by had been destroyed.

“Why do you do that?” asked Allen softly.

“Do what?”

“Flich randomly?”

“I think that has something to do with Inocence too, I can feel it, at least I think it is because it feels the same as you guys… then sometimes one just gose out, and it is a little painful when ever it dose.” She sighed.

“Are you saying you can feel Inocence?” asked Kanda he was still staring at her.

“I suppose…” then her eyes wided something was comeing, it felt dangerose. A Noah. “We have to get off this train! Now!” she said jumping to her feet.

“Why Kiesa-chan?” asked Lavi.

“Come! Quick!” she dragged them out the window, they all tumbled onto the ground painfully.

“Oi! Are you trying to kill us?” asked Kanda.

“No.” Rachel Pionted. About every passenger on the train had been a Akuma and they were riseing by the hundreds out of the train, the frist class cairege had erupted into flames and on top of it they could see them.

“Noahs.” Mermerd Allen, he, Lavi, and Kanda all reached to activate their innocence.

“No! there are to many, the ratios are to high, and I am not talking about numbers of level ones, most of those are level fours and three Noahs. Only you three can’t beat them.” Said Rachel.

“As much as I don’t like it she is right.” Said Kanda.

“Come on Allen Kiesa-chan is right.” Said Lavi.

“I can’t just let them-“ began Allen.

“Allen please!” said Rachel, he stared at her then back at the Akuma and Noahs.

“Bean sprout, lets go, if you go after  them you’ll put Kiesa-chan in a lot of danger.” Said Kanda, Rachel was suprized, in the Manga Kanda only ever looked after himself, maybe it was just because she had the hart. Allen nodded and they snuck off unnoticed.

 

Because they couldn’t take the train anymore they had to cut across contry. Sometimes when a Inocence was espsicaly close Rachel would drag off the other three and they would quickly retrive it, but all in all it took them several weeks to get to their destonation. In that time Rachel became extremely good friends with them, even Kanda. espsisaly Allen they had a lot in commen and she enjoyed being with them all emencely.

The moment they enterd the town they had been told to explore Rachel knew there was no Inocence there, but she felt something else strange, it didn’t feel like a Akuma or a Noah or anything else she reconised, she and the others desided to check it out, though Kanda said that he had better go and report.

They arrived on a seen as strange as any she’d ever seen. Jaya, Rylie, Serena, Bethany, Yasmine, and another boy Rachel didn’t reconise were all being held hostege by two strange creatures with glowing eyes, they ratyated a power that was alian to her, she and Allen exchanged a glance.

Yasmine tried to swipe through them but her swored shatterd like ice when it passed through one Yasmine stubled off balance and acidentaly passed through one. It screemed and disalived and Yasmine crashed to the ground. The other one though went into Tasha.

Tasha stagerd and then strated and opend his eyes, they were a glowing blue.

“This boy was varry fond of you.” Said the beast through Tasha.

“Let him go!” said Yasmine.

“I think not, you can not slice through me while I am inside him with out killing him no?” it said.

“What are you and what do you want with my friends.” Said Yasmine.

“I am a Zpider, we are the piecesss of thisss book ssent out to feed on thosse people, like you, who have been caught in our world that we have sspun to enssnar you.”

“You Zpiders things were the things that traped us hear!” asked Bethany outraged.

“Yesss we have been pulling the sstringsss sseince the beginning. We bring Akito newsss of Vampiresss, no? We fuel her anger agensst you, no? we captured Alexandar (though Zero ran off like the cowerd that he is) and sent him to Edo, no? We call the Whitch Huntersss to bring Yuki and Momiji to Edo too where waits death, no?” Tasha/Zpider laughfed cruly.

“No!” the Spider laughfed again, then cocked its head to the left.

“Ah ha! The next part on our plan isss hear right on time.” Tasha/Zpider, he looked straight into the bushes where Rachel ws hiding Allen moved closer as if to protect her, the Zpider snached up Yasmine, throughing the 4 other girls into bushes. “I will be back for you 4 later.” He said and diapeard with Yasmine in a puff of smoke.

“No! he’s going to kill Momiji! I wont let him!” said Serena strugaling fruitlessly agist the magical bindings.

“This book is Evil! It’s trying to eat us!” said Bethany.

“It has such bad grammer! And its going to kill off Yuki just to spite me!” said Jaya outraged.

“And we’re stuck hear.” Said Rylie also straining agist her bonds. Rachel got up and walked out Allen and Lavi followed her caughsesly. Jaya and the others looked up at their aproch. “Looks like you guys need a hand.” Said Rachel grinning.
