Discovery

pt 1

Rachel awoke laying on a bale of straw, which was not the most confertable place to sleep. She sat up looking at the sky wipering. “I’ve been traped in a book by tuching the pictures” She wonderd out of the farm yard she was in and down the foresty road. Only did she reilies when she got to the villge that she must be careful because she was in D. Gray man so Akuma (macanical demons) could be any where.

Walking past shops she relised that her apearence had alterd and was now completely Animeted. She wonderd if maybe because she was in D. Gray man if she were going to play some sort of roll. She felt different, something about her was not quite what it used to be.

Then the people started screeming, Rachel looked and saw Akuma riseing upabove the tree line. She panicked slightly and with out thinking about it reached into that new part of her self and relised a unbidden word from her lips.

“Rise!” she cried, instantly the stones about her rose, their edges tinted green. Then suddenly Rachel knew what to do, in her mind she imagend moveing the rocks with her mide into going through the center of each Akuma. without delay the stones  did so. Rachel peered at them and imeadetly every thing became see through, and she saw the Akuma through the trees disintegrating. Alamed she closed the link quickly and her vision went back to normal. Looking in the window she saw a “Inocence star” fadeing away on her forhead.

“OI! You there did you do that?” said a voice. She turned and saw Kanda and Lavi standing behind her. Lavi looked at her for  second a shouted delightedly.

“Strike!”

“What?” asked Rachel.

“Oh never mind him, we have to get you back to head quarters, you seem to have the makeings of a Exorsist.” Said Kanda pulling her along not waiting for a answer. HQ was on the top of a killer cliff, and Kanda seemed in a hurry so he made Lavi get them up there on the staff of his growing Hammer.

“Gate keeper let us in.” said Kanda crossly.

“Wait! Examination…” it said beding down to peer at Rachel.

“She’s out!” it anounsed, “She’s either not hear at all or more hear then anybody else. Either way thereis only a fuzzy image of her showing up, just like Allen.”

“Don’t compare her to Bean Sprout!” mutterd Kanda.

“none of you are coming in.” said the gate keeper.

“This is mindless. Open.” Commanded Rachel with her mind as well as her voice. The gate swung open and Rachel marched in pulling along Kanda and Lavi who had frozen in suprize.

“I have to talk to Kumi, though you probly wont want to come along Kanda, but Lavi might find it intresting being as he is the future bookmen.” Said Rachel.

“How did you know that?” asked Lavi.

“You’ll see if you come along.” Said Rachel and she led the way to the office.

“AH, you must be the new Exorsit who just brust though the gate!” said Kumi.

“Yes and I need to speak with you.” She said.

“Oh yes we have much to say. All of you leave.” Said Kumi, and Rachel began her story. She told himevry thing, including her theorys on why they had been pulled in and how they could get out.

“This book seems to be alive some how, and any thing alive needs nurishment of some kind. My only guss is that we are to be that nurish ment. Sort of like a spider and fly. But the book must have some sort of auther, and this auther would be able to wright the storys end. If we could somehow find this auther, he could wright us a way out of hear.” Concluded Rachel.

“Good theory! And I actually think I believe you.” Said Kumi. “Now just come along to the place we hold Inocence, the gardian will examine you.” They took the strange floting elivatore down, and Rachel was taken up in to the feelers of the Garideean speirt. She didn’t panic for she knew it would not hurt her. Eventually the thing put her down and sad quietly.

“She has the hart.”

“What?!” said Kumi choking on his coffe.

“Yes.” Said Rachel as though this were to be expectd. “And I must go to Edo, I have a feeling that is where this is all going to unfold and make sense, though I need to visit China on the way, to check if my friends are there.”

“Alright, though I know none of the others would approve if they knew.” Sighed Kumi, “You will travel with Allen and Lavi to Edo.”

“Thank you supervisore.” Said Rachel hurring off.

Allen, Lavi, and Rachel set off twodord China. They took a ride on a train and sat in the frist class carige.

“This is my frist time on a train.” Comented Rachel cheafuly.

“Pretty boring isent it?” said Allen, noddeding towrod Lavis sleeping form.

“Not bad. I kidda wish I could stay hear, but I realy should get back to my family, and my friends will probly not share my interest.” Said Rachel.

“You could stay hear. You’d like it it’s really nice.” Said Allen leaning forward.

“eah I am shore  nearly being killed by demons every day is just splendid.” Said Rachel laughfing.

“I know what you mean, but it really isen’t that often, and I’d be hear.”

“And so would Lavi.” Said Rachel smileling. “But you guys live a unpredictable life, and you can’t garenty that.”

“I sopose… but…
