Without the Sound

Without the Sound

A Poem by TheDuraMater

I followed your distraction

And with a scent of attraction

I came to an abrupt stop

I saw your body crying covered in dirt

Don’t know what it was, but I bet it hurt

Feel the sky pulling towards the ground

When my head is spinning I will let you know

And when our timebomb blows up, I will let you go

Use your eyes to kill, the lips are a weapon

I will cut open your heart, fill it with cement then

Watch as your veins begin to obey

It all falls apart just to blow up like clay

We got it natural as natural comes

And we will not listen to anyone

You borrowed all your morals

Then you road them over potholes

There may be nothing left

You bit the hand that fed, you don’t know which one

That you miss or that you wanna see go

Feel the speaker rattle without the sound

I think you already know
