This is really great. I love the way the whole thing flows and how the you could see the personality of the narrator through the whole piece. I love the way this describes love and life as something you can't just manipulate.

you're right that is not the way it works and we cant live life like that, as seemingly nice as it would be to just be in a dream-state or stoned out of our heads when pain comes knocking.
