Lullaby

Lullaby

A Poem by The Dudeman (Kenneth T)
"

This song came to me during school yesterday, starting with the lines "If the voice is right, any song is a lullaby"

"
Close your eyes
And shut out the night
I will sing you a lullaby

If the stars are bright
And the voice is right
Any song is a lullaby

Go to sleep, oh now
You'll be safe and sound
As I guard you singing a lullaby

Please don't shed a tear
Or show any fear
You're with me and my lullaby

If the clouds draw near
And their roar you hear
Listen close to my lullaby

The rain falls down
To wash away the ground
I'll be here with my lullaby

When the cold does come
And your heart feels numb
I'll whisk you away with a lullaby

Though the night is long
Listen to my song
Tomorrow comes with a lullaby

And a wonderful lullaby it is.
My favorite part is...
"Please don't shed a tear
Or show any fear
You're with me and my lullaby"
Nicely done!
