I actually have a tune for this, which makes it a legitimate song.

I can feel conflicted pain in these words, of having the one you love not by your side; a familiar pain to me. The repetition of

'I will never forget you
Though our lives are miles apart
Your memory will remain with me
And my heart will hold your spark'

Seemed to bring it all together for me. But, most of all, my favorite line has to be

'All those nights I remember
Crying in my sleep'

Those lines drew me in and kept me reading The rest of the poem/song.

Anyway; well done!

[Coyote Poetry]

Each touch and person we allow in our life. Will stay with us. I like the description and the emotion in the poem. Easy to forget the time and days. Impossible to forget the face of people we loved. A strong ending to a excellent poem.
