Hopeful Heart

How?
How can I live without love?
The answer used to lie within pain and misery.
That high sensation of mental self-abuse
Kept me afloat.
But that wasn't what got me to where I am today.
Today I keep walking because of the future.
Even though I don't have it now
That warm feeling of love could someday be mine.
That's the reason why I haven't given up
Because I've realized that there's hope for me yet.
