Life only lasts so long And after it It won't matter what college you went to Or what career you had Or how "successful" you were. It won't even matter how strong you were Or how skilled your hands Or how smart your brain. The only thing you take with you to Heaven Is the love that you gave away.
Don't live your life focusing on things that don't matter. I know I put it very bluntly here, but seriously, what is it that others will remember you for?

Great write! It was definitely a blunt and direct write, but in a way, that seemed to work effectively in creating the tone of your piece. I liked the simplicity of your poem, and the truth and wisdom behind your words. This was a really thought-provoking poem. Nice work,

Very emotional piece. It conveys the message that so many people try to preach. It doesn't have a very poetic feel to it with rhythm and rhyme. But life shouldn't be a rhythm. Life isn't as easy as a rhyme. Love is so vital to a healthy prosperous existence.
this poem is for sure a great one!
and very true!
I loved the poem as a whole,
meaning the words fit perfectly!
reminds me of what I've been trying to write recently
you can pull it off better though I think!
Good Job!
