Prologue

Prologue

A Chapter by The Dudeman (Kenneth T)
"

A short introduction to tell you about what world has become.

"
The year 2012 didn't turn out how the world expected. There was no world-ending apocalypse, only a message from the heavens. The message came in the form of Angels. These saints who all died for righteous causes preached to the masses, though their words were cryptic. Religions crumbled, and new ones were born, all of them different interpretations of what the Angels could have meant.

The Dudeman (Kenneth T)
At first, I didn't expect writing a prologue, so it seems a bit incomplete. I am very open to comments on things you want added in this prologue that need clarification.

A very strong beginning. Religion is man's downfall. Better to respect a man and his belief be private. I like the description of chaos and left a strong open ending for the next chapter.

Ha! I like the sarcasm, that you used when you talked about
"The year 2012 didn't turn out how the world expected." I kinda got a kick out of that seeing as how scientist read the thing wrong, we're only supposed to have an eclipse. Really though this is awesome!
I love what you used and what you put in to give us a little input on what's going on!

Not imcomplete, sort of vague and keeps the reader guessing. Which is a good way to start, because the reader will read on, to figure you out.

..You have read my prologues, right? Obscurity is like a MUST. Also, they are really short and confusing (sometimes). Prologues aren't always straightforward, so I like it. There is one sort of odd line-
"But Jared Martyn of Madison, Wisconsin never would have thought how it involved him." I think you are missing an 'of' or something, it just seems choppy and jarring to me.
YAY FOR GRADUATING YEAR.
YAY FOR RELIGION.
YAY FOR WISCONSIN.

I really don't think anything needs adding to this. Anything more would be better suited to your story. As it is this prologue is a perfect little bubble of a world. I am impressed and intruiged and I think it should remain exactly as it is.
