Lost and FoundA Poem by The Dudeman (Kenneth T)For Lovely. This is my anniversary present to her. Happy seven months!
I lost myself in your heart,
Or, was it in my own? Could I be forgetting who I was? I was changing shape- Becoming a new person. Oh, I was scared. Would I change beyond recognition? My being was melting, Filling the spaces in you, And completing both of us. Was I foolish and blind For not knowing All that I had missed before? All of this wonderful love That I never thought was for me. I was relieved to discover That I fit with you so well, No matter how I had to change, For the changes made me better And I would do anything for your love. No more doubt; I know where I belong! I found myself in our conjoined heart.
