IntuitionA Poem by Diamond DunbarA woman’s intuition is scary because she’s almost always right.
This feeling is getting stronger.
Your lies are growing longer. I won't let you put me through this. I don't want to hear your excuses. I'm not asking for her name. But I want to know her place. Don't tell me you love me We both know that ain't the same. Because if you did I wouldn't have caught her in bed with you. You got me questioning my worth because you miscounted yourself! Who am I? You got me feeling out of place. And don't say I'm your everything. When you got my head in the wrong space. You can't even recognize the hurt in my face. You can’t even stop the pain from bleeding on my insides from the knife…… You push in my heart! All I get is “I’m sorry,” while I continue to fall apart. © 2021 Diamond DunbarAuthor's Note
