The Villain

The Villain

A Poem by Diamond Dunbar
"

We all have Gillian’s in our lives that project their fear onto us because they wish they were as brave and courageous as us! Don’t let the hate, fear and misery get to you! You have them for a reason

"
Does it make you feel good to spew dirt on my name, but let me just say…..
It really doesn’t effect me anyway!
I sprouted and grew with all the dirt you threw.
It’s nothing you can do or say about me,
It won’t cause me to reach out to you!
But it’s clear you’ll try anything.
I wish you peace, love and abundance, Because bringing misery to others only heightens
The fire in the pit that resides for YOU..
Self destructing at its finest.
Power and death lies in the tongue,
STOP killing yourself trying to kill my inhibitions!
From the start, it was always your intentions.
To see me fail and never prevail
Because you couldn’t dream of being anything else but the VILLAIN.

As they say now a days "People gonna hate." It takes a lot of inner strength to rise above the pettiness and hatred of others. Not letting their insecurities affect how you choose to live life. This poem has a very strong message in it. Thank you for sharing your work with us.
