I love you but I hate you

I love you but I hate you

A Poem by Diamond Dunbar

I love you but I don't want to fight for you.
I hate when I have a fight with you.
I never know what to do.
Or the right words to choose.
I've been failing at loving you.
As if this was a class in grade school.
I'm sick a*s f**k, to be in love with you.
I'd scream and fuss just to get next to you.
Then kick you out once I've had enough of you.
I love you now but I'll hate you later.
The affection that you seek just can't be given from me.
My feminine, masculinity is altering.
Just stop while your ahead.
You won't get close to me.
Say what you want but be what I need.
Give, but don't take my energy.
