Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek

A Poem by Diamond Dunbar

You can't keep running from things that bother you.
You can't even look back because you don't want to get confused.
You know what's behind, has been waiting on you to show your face again and not another lame excuse.
It's waiting for you to confront its truth and it won't go away until you do.
You thought it'll fade and like a memory that's true but also like a memory if it was shared with many than you have a moment with multiple views.
What are you gonna do when your past comes for you?
Because no matter how far you go or where you hide the depths of your darkest days may spawn to the light.
