Last Lover MistakesA Poem by Diamond Dunbar
When you dealing with a heart you didn't break.
And you're not so sure how much more you can take. So you continue the journey hoping the victory is on your side. Constantly wondering am I loving them right? Am I consoling them right? Am I holding you tight? Am I being too rough? Am I doing too much or am I not doing enough? Let's not suffer because of your last lover mistakes. It's not my fault they decided not to stay. I can't help rekindle those ties that you dread to say. Don't you realize conditional love is what jacked you up in the first place? You going against me because what I can make you feel and you don't want to lose control yourself fr. So you pretend it ain't real and I pretend you don't exist. You aren't the only one with a broken heart that wants to be fixed. Let's not suffer because of the last lovers mistake. © 2017 Diamond Dunbar |
