Have you?

Have you?

A Poem by Diamond Dunbar
"

I'm just really broken.

"
Have you ever tried loving with a broken heart?
Have your ever tried smiling with a definite frown?
Have you ever tried to give your love away and they still didn't stay?
Have you ever wished for someone to appreciate you everyday?
Have you ever cried in front of familiar face without shedding a tear?
Or releasing a sound for the room to hear?
Have you ever given up and gone right back because you know what it's like when people don't come back?
Have you ever given so much of yourself for love that you don't even got enough..for you.
Have you even been so willing to f**k just because that's the closet you've ever felt to love?
Have you ever felt this fucked up?
Have you ever gave up on yourself just to pick someone else up?
Have you ever been that dumb?
Have you ever been the one that anyone was searching for?
I haven't, I was just the one that stayed.
It's hard for one to appreciate it if you aren't who they desire.

I wander into your words, into this world of aching, of loss, of hunger and wish I could say I do not understand, wish I did not realize the depth of such loneliness. It only makes the ache worse knowing perhaps that a dear friend like you might now be wandering such a pathway as well. Such powerfully moving pain, like a river. xo

Thank you so much love!
Diamond,
Your writing tells of fragile to loss and loneliness. In my youth I tried to stay in a relationship that had run its course. I wasn't strong enough to walk away and accept reality. I caused myself much more pain. It is never easy. We have to love and respect ourselves in order to get over heartache.
Blessings,
Richie b.
