Interlude

Interlude

A Poem by Diamond Dunbar
"

From me, to me.

"
What you gone do when they come for you?
I hope you don't do what you always do.
You can't give in, you know they really aren't your friends.
They talk about you and use you to.
To be honest I can't tell the difference from what's out here to what's within.
Yeah these demons may not be my friends but the only reason I'm so comfortable with them is because they come from familiar faces.
I let em f**k me over and didn't say s**t.
I was hurting real bad and didn't say s**t.
It's like I accepted the fact that I just wasn't s**t.
I mean that's what they told me and I ran with it.
I'm a reflection of my pain so when you dealing with me, Its like dealing with a storm with rain.
Known to fool people with my big goofy smile, but if you talk to me to long I'll definitely frown.
You've been fighting in real life when the real fight is inside.
And you've been caving in to demons instead of conquering them.
You gotta change the way you move and the way you go about things.
The complications that you facing is simply fabrication of the demons you been entertaining.
Wake up Kid!

Life can be cold and heartless. People take and run.

The above line is true for the many of us. Wanting love so desperately. Accept bad place and people. Thank you Diamond Dunbar for sharing your amazing poetry.
