Mentally Frustrated

Mentally Frustrated

A Poem by Diamond Dunbar

How can you grow in life if you aint willing to learn.

Knowledge is a gift gotta make it well earned.

All are not appreciative of what the mind can do.

Some are scared because they know the mind controls you.

It's scarcity in the complexity that got people afraid to read.

Knowledge is power and cannot be unlearned indeed.

The only thing in this world you have soul custody to.

It's more than your name because it has the ability to change not by the government but by your own free range.

Its one-of-a-kind so don't waste your time destroying instead of rebuilding your mind.

Granted, it all takes time but the worst thing to lose while you were alive is the control of your own mind.
Do not be your own demise.

I believe we must teach the children everything. Show them the world. Good and bad. Allow them to make their decision.
"Granted, it all takes time but the worst thing to lose while you were alive is the control of your own mind. "
My father was a Mexican living in a white world and he told me. "Education, education and more education. Never allow anyone to look down at you." Hard world for our children. Make them strong and wise. We must know our world and be the example. A good example. Powerful words my friend. You made me think this evening. Thank you Diamond Dunbar for sharing your poetry and thoughts.
