Dance in my darkness

Dance in my darkness

A Poem by Diamond Dunbar

Torture me that's the only way I can see.

Its like you gotta f**k me over to even f**k with me.

Lost cause, closed case you see.

I dead myself to everything I couldn't change or be.

Leaving blood stains all over what you use to be, or things that held "use" for me.

I have eroded like the blood bath explosion that I've chosen.

Lord forgive me, for I have sinned.

Undoubtedly do it again, unintentionally I've been drawn in.

Deep feelings of anger and loss expressed in you words. The pain of being used in a relationship is very personal and long lasting. It causes problems in trusting others in future relationships. Your poem represents darkness but hopefully builds strength in understanding you can carry on.

There are many heart dumps of painful dark feelings on this website, but they're often expressed thru undisciplined gushing. It's so refreshing to read something that's well written, balanced & structured, albeit a bit of a painful rant. Feeling tortured is no excuse for dismissing the job of writing. Job well done here! Your rhymes feel natural & you're playing with the arrangements of words & phrases thru-out. I don't particularly like reading such dark material, but I love it when it's done with care.

I think it's healthy to express dark feelings. I wish I could. I bury mine (((HUGS)))
