Hopeless LoverA Poem by Diamond Dunbar
I sit and wait hopelessly.
I am well aware of how unhealthy this is. Although my love keeps telling me, he's coming back just wait and see. Well I've been waiting and all I've seen where the memories that you left to me. I still remember the day you left me and how unemotional I was. Because I won't allow you to see how you could actually get the best of me. I waited until I was far enough that only the miles in the distance could hear my squeek. In my chest, my heart sunk. So overwhelmed, get this f*****g love out of me! He doesn't love me back, and I wasn't enough. Can someone tell me why my heart is still holding on, please? Dying just to get a little piece, but your love is such a tease. You won't let it down on me, you won't be who your suppose to be. I guess you tricked me. Infatuated in your crazy, I will always be your Lady. © 2016 Diamond DunbarFeatured Review
