I Remember

In honor of our beloved angels who are no longer with us

 

I remember all the times we shared

From days of warm, radiant sunlight

To cold days of blinding darkness

We laughed, we cried, we fought, but we loved

I remember how you supported me

Through all that I did

You were there when I needed you

In unconditional love

I remember how you comforted me

During times of despair

Through you, God lifted me

Up and away, from rock bottom

I remember your warm presence

One of euphoria and sweet bliss

It was like an angel in the room

An angel now gone home
