Forbidden love

For the ones you truly cant have

I think I have a thing for forbidden love.

 

I mean I don’t think I’m special but it just feels like I’m always falling for someone I know I can’t have

.

It’s just so rare for me to laugh like this with anyone.

 

I don’t just get every person I meet stuck in my head.

 

But sweet heart you’ve been doing circles in mine ever since I laid down in bed.

 

The road to be with this person is going to be filled with so many obstacles that it truly seems impossible.

 

But you make me want to try.

 

You make me want to take on the possible just for the improbable chance that it could work out.

 

I’d lose so much along the way.

 

However, I think it could be worth it.

 

Just as long as you stay.

Firstly Isiaih (beautiful name by the way) let me thank you for reviewing and giving such positive feed back on my poem Bipolar Bear.

This is a lovely poem, and speaks of a really gentle heart. I especially liked the two lines which read ' 

I don’t just get every person I meet stuck in my head.

But sweet heart you’ve been doing circles in mine ever since I laid down in bed.'

That you are thinking of your forbidden love on bed suggests your desire for an intimacy, and not necessarily sex, prehaps just someone to cuddle with, which it quite heart breaking.

The only criticism I have is the final line,
'
I’d lose so much along the way.
However, I think it could be worth it.
Just as long as you stay.'

This suggests you are actually with the person, although o may have read it wrong. Poetically however the rhyme employed works very well, and dispite what I see as a slight contradiction in the poem, it finishes of the verse in a very pleasing way indeed.
