One hundred and
seventy-six years, long and cold, the sun never shown over the land again, only
darkness, a girl with a stone cold heart and eyes of pure hatred. A girl with
an open grip and a spiked whip, Adrian, the princess whom had slain her own
parents and taken their kingdom for her own. A girl consumed by darkness and
hatred for the world.
Standing fit and strong against the snow white, clad in black from head to toe,
thick warm tight black leggings être he'd over her strong muscled legs, as a
tight weaved shirt made of silk and animal hide être he'd over her mature
curves and hugged her slender figure. Dangerous boots tapped the icy floor,
heels made from sharpened spikes clicked against the glossy but some how cloudy
dull floor that shimmered under the blue flames that lit the halls.
Over a hundred years and she still ruled with a violent tongue and strong fist,
unkind and uncaring, she was the most ungentle creature, some couldn't even
believe that shed come from the womb of such a sweet queen and a loving king
but she had, she was the daughter if the royals to this land.
Moving with grace, and swift long strides standing at nearly six feet, Adrian
was far more intimidating even with her super model figure, her eyes that blazed
and her hair that hung over them, shadowing them sent all running from the site
of such a horrendous girl.
The grand hall doors blew open, guards flinched, guests winced, all turned to
look at the wrenched wicked witch. A vampire shed become a stealer of souls and
a drinker of blood. Red stained her lips brighter then before, her skin was
almost a pale blue of death, frost followed her wherever she did go. Seating
herself at the head of the table, she gained attention from all without
breathing a word, slowly her lips parted, flashing her brilliant teeth, the
singer and poison pumps weren't in today, that was a good sigh you could say.
" Welcome to my home, children of such a young age, "
Her voice was so cold, it seemed the only warmth that ever came to her was her
fire eyes.
" Welcome to the inside of my layer, I have called you all here for a
reason, and a good one at that, a new race has arose from the darkness and they
prove a most dangerous threat to the demons of our realm. "
" Then let us take them down to their level your majesty."
A tiny girl squeaked, her eyes a brilliant shade of pink and her hair the color
of silver. A mother reached over in a flash, her hand blurred and reap eared
clapped over the child's mouth, a confused look int he younglings eyes.
Death radiated around Adrian, while she hated to be interrupted, while she
hated people who spoke without being addressed she did have a hollow heart for
children, especially the untrained brought to her presence.
" Dearest child, " her voice purred, Adrian spoke with a tone of the
softest silk while holding the deadly growl all the same making the child shake
with fear and the parents flinch. " Listen to me and listen closely for I
do never repeat what I say. Never speak unless I speak to you, never open that
pretty mouth of yours while I am speaking or it will be frozen shut and you'll
never hear that bell voice again. And you, " Adrian turned to the parents,
" Teach them correctly or I will do it myself, understood?"
The parents nodded quickly, fearfully frightened about the stone cold girl.
Adrian smiled satisfied with the terror shed struck into their hearts.
" As I was speak before, a new threat has arose in this dark time, they
are weak, powerless but they believe themselves to be strong, they are not
demon of any kind I've ever seen, yet I have heard word of a kingdom of pixies
falling to their rage, their blades of steal had removed the flying creatures
wings. I've heard from the kingdom of dragons they are being pushed further
into the hills by the exploring mongrels who are worthless in my eyes. As the
child had so delightfully pointed out, we must take them down a notch, we must
show them who the real boss is. "
The other royals looked nervous, and unsure, they were told rumors and stories
as well of the new race, and didn't want to tango with them to greatly.
Adrian's eyes blazed as she stood up with a start, sending the chair to the
floor her hands slammed hard against the frozen stone table.
" Am I the only one without fear!? Am I the only one who sees we must
preserve what is ours!? Am I e only one who is not weak!?"
Suddenly out of the blue, her grand doors crashed open with a loud shout,
everyone's head snapped in the direction of the guard who'd interrupted, but not
Adrian, no, she slowly stood straight, her six foot one frame towering, her
body moved slowly like a lazy cat, turning her body, slow and easy she turned
half way toward the door, an eyebrow raised in mock amusement at the
disturbance.
" You best have life or death news or I'll be the very end of you my dear,
"
She cooed with an evil vibe, one that's as not new but still chilled even the
strongest warriors inside.
" We are under attack my queen. A strange breed has taken on the front
guard soldiers, and they are falling, their weapons are so much different, they
make a loud bang, and they are faster then our blade, our men are fighting back
and we are gaining ground but their numbers keep accumulating!"
The guard panted with fear in his eyes, Adrian had never seen such horror on
one of her guards face, her blood began to boil as the black symbols, that
spent more time hidden, resurfaced and swirled along her uncovered arms and
over her throat before curling over her eyes and fanning out, her eyes narrowed
menacingly.
" Weak miserable creatures! If you want something done you must do it
yourself."
She growled and grit her teeth annoyed, Adrian hadn't trained the guards like
this, they were never this weak before.
" Send as many men as you need, take them down by any means
necessary!"
Adrian roared with aggression violence co tied her voice as she spat in ,
turning she looked at the families.
" Such luck, my kingdom was one of the first to be attacked, you're all
lucky I will end this here and now and send them running back to their own land
where they will learn to stay, if they wish to live that is. "
Adrian yanked the chair back into place as the meeting progressed, with few
outbursts and very little noise aside form Adrian's chillingly beautiful slur.
When once more after what seemed like hours a guard fell through the door, no
longer on two feet, rely heavily on her blade now used for a cane of sorts, his
armor beaten and battered, his body bruised and bloody. Once kore Adrian arose,
and once kore she turned with her threat this time the man coughed, and spilled
blood from his mouth before croaking out.
" They a to strong your majesty, their to quick for our sword, their to
much for us..we are falling, I beg of you to call a retreat," his eyes
where flickering from death to living, he was dyeing she could easily tell.
Adrian's eyes turned a bitter golden flame, her head lent tot he side, hair
falling over her eyes, body tense and ready for a fight as she let out a
laughter that scared all within her presence.
" My, my, my. It seems my guards have gone soft, it seems they have been
slacking off, as I should have known, never send a lesser being to do the Ice
Queens job. "
Turning tot he royals she bowed deep and low, her hair falling over her flames
for eyes before she straightened her back and turned with a smile.
" This will only take a small time, please stay where you're safe, and let
me handle this crime, I'll put an end to this now, and rein again, they want
war, they have one."
A woman so cold a child so old, a demon from hell, or so it had been foretold,
moving like a wild fire, taking like a bird to flight, she moved with speed
that rivaled the weapons of the lesser race. Adrian moved slick, and swift,
over an icy glass her heels sharpening further over such a surface as her eyes
glowed a brilliant shade, brighter then before, her hair blown from her eyes as
she rushed to the courtyard where her men fought with strength and honor,
dignity and fierce determination. The way shed trained them, but they were weak
to the loud bangs that echoed and made their ears ring, a noise that made even
Adrian cringe.
Unfazed and unwilling to loose to such a breed she breezed over the dead frozen
grass, the attackers watched, their faces going from determined to fearful,
they watched as their comrades fell from a simply flurry of snow, no it was not
simple, it was Adrian under cloak, making her an easy target, but hard to
catch. Sliding around, moving with speed and grace the new race had never seen
ever before, her legs swept out dropping the men of attackers, her sword
stained with not gold, silver, black or purple but red blood.
Her teeth ripped their throats, her claws slit open and gutted, her kicks broke
many bones. Adrian's rage showed, blood was shed, head went flying, bones where
broken and skulls crushed, her vicious nature seemed to be enough, or so she
thought. Adrian stopped for just a moment, her head tilted, her shoulders
turned when she felt something, for the first time she felt something,
different. Looking down she felt it again, looking up she saw to her own
strange emotions many more of the red blooded creatures, they came in very
large numbers, it made no sense, the strange piercing feeling kept touching her
hard in the chest. Looking down she watched as blackish blue blood slipped from
open circular wounds. Adrian had never seen anything like it, her fingers
reached up, her nails probed the wounds only to extract strange looking orbs
which she collected in her hand. Looking up one more time her eyes dilated and
faded, the color was robbed from her beautiful embers or eyes as she fell
backwards into the snow, hitting the ground her body bounced, once raise, her
head thumped hard on the ice, her skin turned a pale blue of death. Adrian's
eyes flutter close as the snow fluttered down, her body went limp, this was
surely the end.
